List of Ingredients
4 cups bread flour
2 cups all purpose flour
1/2 cup cornmeal
2 1/2 tbsp sugar
1 1/2 tsp salt
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
Blend the dry ingredients together and store in a plastic bag
In a bowl mix:
1 cup water
3 cups of above dry mixture
1 1/2 tsp yeast
2 tbsp melted shortening

After the dough is mixed properly knead it until it's smooth and elastic and
separate it in two. Take an 8 inch cake pan and fill it with vegetable oil
until the bottom is coated and take 1 section of the dough and shape into a
pattie to avoid any cracks. Make a rim around the center of the dough about a
half inch from the edge and place in the pan. Add more oil until it's just a
little below going over the outside edge.
Cover the pan with plastic and let rest in the fridge overnight. Take the dough
out the next day 5 or 6 hours before use so it may rise and become fluffy.
Score the center with a fork a couple of times so the dough does not become
thick when cooking. Top and bake at 450 for 10 minutes or until cheese turns
slightly brown.
He said it takes about 1/4 of a cup of oil. He also suggests an egg.
