Pork Chops Santa Fe

brown four pork chops on both sides in a pan. Then I combine in a
casserole dish: 1 cup rice, a chopped onion, 1/2 cup salsa, 1 1/2
cups chicken broth. Place pork chops on top of the rice mixture,
salt and pepper to taste and bake at 400F until the liquid is
absorbed, about 45-60 minutes. Rice should be tender. (By the way if
you've a deep frying pan, you can make this on top of the stove and
bypass the baking. Just cover and simmer until all the rice is fully
cooked and the liquid is absorbed.)
