Creamy Mashed Potato Bake

• 3 cups hot mashed potatoes
  
• 1 cup sour cream
  
• 1/4 cup milk
  
• 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  
• 1 1/3 cups french fried onions, divided
  
• 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese, divided
  






Instructions



1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine mashed potatoes, sour cream, milk and garlic powder in large bowl; mix well.
   
   
2. Spoon half the mixture into a 2-quart baking dish. Sprinkle with 2/3 cup French Fried Onions and 1/2 cup cheese. Top with remaining potato mixture.
   
   
3. Bake 30 minutes, until hot. Top with remaining onions and cheese. Bake 5 minutes until onions are golden.
