    3 tablespoons unsalted butter or oleo
    1-1/2 cups flour
    3 eggs
    salt
    1 cup of mashed potato

    Recipe



    Combine 1-1/2 cups water and butter in heavy saucepan.
    Bring to a boil. Remove from heat. Immediately add
    flour all at once, beating with a wooden spoon until
    smooth. Beat in eggs one at a time, beating well
    after each. To the pate you can add a cup of mashed
    potatoes.

    Roll Bullet size pieces in floured hands and drop into
    hot water to cook until gnocchi float to surface, 10
    to 15 minutes. Test for doneness by cutting one with
    fork to see if firm) Drain gnocchi and place in
    buttered baking dish. Serve immediately or reheat at
    300 degrees 10 minutes. Serve with melted butter.

    *You may serve them with tomato sauce (homemade) and
    grated cheese or with stew or Goulash.
