List of Ingredients
4 LBS chicken thighs or breasts
1/3 cup soy sauce
1/2 cup Splenda
1 tablespoon black strap molasses
1/4 cup tomato sauce
3 Tbs. Cider Vinegar
3 cloves Garlic finely chopped
1/2 Tsp. Red Pepper Flakes
1/4 Tsp. Ground Ginger
Recipe
Heat oil in a large non-stick skillet over med. high heat add chicken
cook until lightly browned. (6-7 min) Remove from heat.
Combine remaining ingredients in a bowl and mix well, pour over
chicken and return to heat. Bring to a boil and reduce heat and
cover, simmer for 20 minutes or until chicken is done through.
Remove chicken to a serving platter, thicken the sauce with a little
guar gum or xanthium gum and serve it with the chicken as a sauce.
Or
Line a large baking pan with foil and place chicken thighs in skin
side down. Mix the rest of the ingredients together and pour over the
chicken. Cover with foil and place in a 350° oven for 1 1/2 hours or
until done and tender.
Remove a little of the cooking liquid and thicken it with a little
guar gum or xanthium gum and serve with the chicken as a sauce.
