    7 ounces spaghetti, broken
    into small pieces
    1/4 cup margarine or butter
    1/4 cup all-purpose flour
    1/2 tsp salt
    1/4 tsp pepper
    1 cup chicken broth
    1 cup whipping cream or
    half and half
    2 tbsp sherry
    2 cups cut-up cooked chicken or
    turkey
    1 can 4 ounces mushroom stems
    and pieces, drained
    1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

    Cook spaghetti as directed on package; drain. Heat margarine in 3-quart
    saucepan until melted. Stir in flour, salt and pepper. Cook, stirring
    constantly, until smooth and bubbly; remove from heat. Stir in broth and
    cream. Heat to boiling, stirring constantly. Boil and stir 1 minute.
    Stir
    in spaghetti, sherry, chicken and mushrooms. Pour into ungreased 2-quart
    casserole or 8 x 8 x 2 inch baking dish. Sprinkle with cheese. Cook
    uncovered in 350F oven unil top is golden brown, about 30 minutes.

    Serves 6

    DO-AHEAD NOTE: Before cooking, cover and refrigerate no longr than 24
    hours. To serve, cook uncovered 45 to 50 minutes.
