    Creamy Turkey Breast

    List of Ingredients




    1 3/4 to 2 lbs turkey breast, boneless
    3 tbsp butter or margarine
    Dash black pepper
    1/2 tsp salt
    1/2 cup water
    3 tbsp sliced green onion
    1 can ( 4 oz ) deviled ham
    1 cup sour cream
    1 to 1 1/2 tbsp Dijon mustard
    Red pepper, optional, for garnish
    Chopped parsley, for garnish

    Recipe



    Melt butter in an ovenproof roasting pan. Rinse turkey, pat dry.

    Place turkey, skin side up, in the pan. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.

    Add water to pan. Sprinkle green onion around turkey.

    Bake at 350 for about 55 minutes until turkey is tender and cooked through.
    Time depends on height of turkey breast. A meat thermometer inserted in
    center should register 180.

    Remove turkey. Keep warm.

    Pour pan juices into saucepan. Heat to boil, whisking constantly.

    Add ham, sour cream, and mustard. Heat to a simmer, do not boil.

    Slice turkey. Remove to serving platter. Pour sauce over.

    Garnish with chopped red pepper if used. Sprinkle with parsley.
