List of Ingredients
1/2 cup of cornstarch
2 tablespoons arrowroot (optional)
2 tablespoons baking soda
30 drops essential oil
Recipe
Combine the dry ingredients in a glass bowl.
Add the essential oils several drops at a time
and blend it into the powder with a whisk.
Continue to do this until all is mixed. You
can use lavender or rose geranium essential
oils, which are soothing and less expensive
then many of the oils. Also, if you are buying
oils for the first time they are good ones to
start with and have many other uses.
Alternative method: If you grow roses or other
fragrant flowers (organically) you can add fresh
flowers to a glass jar, cover with the dry ingredients
and shake several times a day for 2-3 days. If it
is not scented enough, remove the flowers and
start over with fresh ones. Do this until you have
the fragrance you desire.
