    List of Ingredients


    • 1/2 cup uncooked long grain rice
    • 1/4 cup uncooked orzo
    • 1/2 cup mushrooms
    • 1/2 cup diced onion
    • 1/4 cup finely chopped celery
    • 1/4 cup butter
    • 2 cups chicken broth
    • 2 Tbsps chopped parsley
    • 1/4 tsp dried marjoram
    • 1/4 tsp pepper


    Instructions


    1. In a large skillet, over medium-low heat, saute the rice, orzo, mushrooms, onion and celery in butter, stirring constantly, until rice is lightly browned.
    2. Stir in the remaining ingredients; bring to a boil.
    3. Reduce heat and cover; simmer for 15 minutes.
    4. Remove from heat and let stand, covered, for 10 minutes


    Final Comments


    Yield: 4 servings
