Peas, Rice and Cheddar Cheese

2 cups cooked hot white rice
1 1/2 cups (4 oz) shredded or grated Cheddar cheese
1 cup ( one half of a 10 oz box) frozen green peas, cooked
Pepper
2 tbsp butter ( optional)
Recipe
For a creamy mixture, simply mix together the rice. cheese and peas,
season it with salt and pepper and eat.
For a mixture with crisped pieces, mix the ingredients together, then
turn into a medium skillet with the butter sizzling at medium heat. With
a spatula, flatten the rice intro a pancake and let cook about 8
minutes, until the bottom is lightly browned. Turn the pancake in as
large pieces as you can ( it will not hold together) and continue
cooking until there are enough crusty pieces to suit you. Serve
immediately
