    Slow cook a beef roast with potatoes and carrots in a slow cooker or the oven. Slice the roast and serve on Hoagies or other large rolls. Serve with a small bowl of beef juice ("au jus") from the roast to dip the sandwiches in.

    A delicious way to eat the potatoes is to mash them on your plate, pour some of the "au jus" on them and a dollop of butter or sour cream or both. (Oh, yum!)
