Hot Chicken Sandwiches

List of Ingredients
1 can cr. of chicken soup
1 T. minced onion
1/2 can pimento
3/4 c. plus 3 T. milk
3 T. flour
2 c. diced cooked chicken
12 slices white sandwich bread, trimmed
and halved
2 eggs
2 c. crushed potato chips
1 c. slivered almonds
Recipe
Blend soup, onion, pimento, 3/4 c. milk and
flour in saucepan; cook, stirring, until
thickened. Add chicken; cool. Place half the
bread on foil-lined pan; arrange chicken
mixture on bread. Cover with remaining bread.
Cover pan with foil; refrigerate overnight.
Beat eggs and remaining milk together; roll
sandwiches in mixture. Dip in potato chips.
Place in baking pan; sprinkle with almonds.
Bake at 350� until sandwiches are crisp.
Makes 6 servings.
