    1 loaf brown-and-serve French or Italian bread (16-oz.)
    6 ounces sliced cheese (American-Swiss or Cheddar/ or combination)
    12 ounces thinly sliced deli meat (turkey-ham-roast beef or chicken)
    Ranch salad dressing or other creamy salad dressing

    Recipe



    Bake the bread according to package directions. Cool slightly. Slice the
    baked loaf of bread in half horizonally and arrange the cheese on the
    bottom half of bread. Arrange the deli meat over the cheese. Place the top
    half of the bread on the sandwich. Return to oven and bake for 5 minutes
    more or until cheese melts. Remove sandwich from oven and cool slightly.
    Slice sandwich into quarters. Serve warm. Pass the salad dressing to use as
    a dipping sauce or to drizzle over meat.

    Makes 6 to 8 servings
