Caramel Dip for Apples

List of Ingredients
1 (14 oz.) can Eagle Brand milk
1 c. sugar
1 c. white Karo syrup
1 stick butter
1 c. chopped pecans
Recipe
Place first 3 ingredients in double boiler and bring to boil. Cook
over medium heat for 1 hour, stirring occasionally, until thick.
Then add butter and pecans and cook for another 30 minutes. Let cool
until dip is comfortable temperature for dipping. Use sliced apples,
preferably Granny Smith's. Unused portion can be refrigerated for
later use.
Use like fondue with apple slices.
