    1/2 C. packed brown sugar
    1/3 C. granulated sugar
    3/4 C. unsweetened cocoa powder (preferrably Dutch-processed)
    3/4 C. heavy whipping cream
    3 T. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
    dash salt

    Recipe



    In a 1 quart or larger glass bowl or measuring cup, combine brown sugar,
    granulated sugar, cocoa and cream. Mix well (mixture will be very thick
    but will liquefy upon heating). Add butter. Heat in microwave oven on
    HIGH heat 1 1/2 - 2 minutes, stirring once, until well blended. Heat 1-1
    1/2 minutes longer or until bubbly and sugars are dissolved. Stir in
    vanilla and salt. Serve hot over ice cream desserts. Can be cooled and
    stored in refrigerator up to two weeks. Reheat in microwave on LOW power
    1-2 minutes, stirring twice, until of good pouring consistency. Makes 1
    3/4 Cups.
