    3 cups Strawberries -- hulled
    1/2 cup sugar
    1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

    Recipe



    Puree berries in processor until
    smooth. Strain through fine sieve
    into small bowl. Mix in 1/2 cup
    with lemon juice. Coveran
    d refrigerate. (Can be pre-
    pared 1 day ahead)

    Add more sugar if berries are tart.

    Makes about 2 cups
