Lemon Sherbet

List of Ingredients
1 1/2 cups fresh lemon juice
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup orange juice
1/2 cup light cream
1/2 cup water
1/4 t. vanilla extractRecipe
IN a small pan, cook the lemon juice and sugar until the sugar crystals
dissolve. Set aside to cool, then whisk in all of the remaining ingredients.
Immediately transfer the mixture to an ice cream maker and freeze according to
manufacturer's instructions. Put the finished sherbet in a storage container and
freeze until firm. Makes a little less than 1 quart.
