    potatoes, peeled and cubed

    1/2 cup butter

    1/2 cup all-purpose flour

    8 cups milk

    1/2 pound sour cream

    1/2 cup shredded Cheddar cheese

    1/4 cup chopped onion

    salt to taste

    ground black pepper to taste

    Recipe



    1 Microwave potatoes 7-10 minutes.

    2 While microwaving potatoes, melt butter. Add flour and

    milk. Heat at medium. Add sour cream, 1/2 cup cheddar

    cheese, onions, and salt and pepper to taste. Add potatoes,

    cook on medium for about 5 more minutes. Top with bacon

    bits and additional grated cheddar cheese, if desired

    Variations and suggestions

    Add PLENTY of cheddar cheese

    I browned the onions first and this gave it a great taste.

    Loved it even more with brocolli, cauliflour, and baby carrots

    The only thing I did differently is to mash the potato's with a hand masher, a little, right before I served it.
