Parmesan Corn Chowder

2 cups boiling water
2 cups chopped potatoes
1/2 cup diced carrots
1/2 cup sliced celery
1/4 cup chopped onions
1 1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
17 ozs cream corn
1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup flour
2 cups milk
1/3 cup parmesan cheese
Recipe
Add water to potatoes, carrots, celery, onions, salt and pepper. Cover and simmer 10 minutes. Cook until vegetables are nearly done. Make a white sauce of butter, flour and milk. Add cheese and corn. Add to vegetables and heat through. Do not boil.
