Pasta E Fagioli Soup

List of Ingredients
1 lb of 93% lean ground beef
1 small onion diced
1 c carrot juilienned
3 stalks celery, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
2- 14.5 ounce cans diced tomatoes
1-15 ounce can red kidney beans (with liquid)
1-15 ounce can great northern beans (with liquid)
1-ounce can tomato sauce
1- 12 ounce can of V-8 juice
1 1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp dried oregano
1 tsp dried black pepper
1/2 tsp dried thyme
1/2 lb (1/2 package) of ditali pasta (DONT PUT PASTA IN CROCK POT)
Recipe
Brown the ground beef in large sauce pan. Drain off fat.Add onion,
carrot, celery and garlic simmer for 10 mins.Put meat and veggies on
crock pot Add remaining ingredients except pasta Mix cook on low for 4
to 6 hrs.Cook pasta as directed.Just before serving add 1/8 of the
cooked pasta to each serving.
I don't add the pasta to the cooked soup because it absorbs all the
juice if you have leftovers
Serves 8 -1 1/2 cup servings
