Zesty Clam Chowder

List of Ingredients
6 slices bacon, chopped
1 large onion, chopped
2 large potatoes, peeled and diced
1 red bell pepper, chopped
3 - 10 oz. cans baby clams, drained, liquid reserved
2 cups milk
1/2 cup bottled clam juice
2 - 15 oz. cans cream style corn
1 Tbsp. thyme
salt and pepper
Recipe
Cook chopped bacon in large saucepan until brown. Add onions and saute about
10 minutes. Add potatoes and red pepper and saute one minute. Add reserved
liquid from clams, milk and bottled clam juice. Simmer chowder about 15
minutes. Add corn and clams and simmer another 5 minutes. Add in thyme, salt
and pepper to desired taste. Let simmer another 20 minutes.
