Broccoli with Three Cheeses

List of Ingredients
1 medium bunch of broccoli, cut into spears (1 1/2 lbs.)
1 cup water
2 T. butter or margarine
2 T. flour
1/4 t. pepper
1 cup milk
3 oz pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese (4 oz)
1/2 cup crumbled blue cheese
1/4 cup chopped pecans
Recipe
In Dutch oven, place broccoli spears; add water. Cover; bring to a full boil.
Cook over medium heat until broccoli is crisp tender, about 5-7 minutes.
Drain. Meanwhile, in 1 quart pan, melt butter, stir in flour and pepper. Cook over
medium heat, stirring constantly, until smooth and bubbly (30 seconds) Stir
in milk and cream cheese. Continue cooking, stirring occasionally, until
mixture thickens and comes to a full boil (4-5 minutes). Stir in Cheddar cheese and
blue cheese. Continue cooking, stirring occasionally, until cheeses are
melted, 1-2 minutes. Serve cheese sauce over broccoli; sprinkle with pecans. Serves
