Parmesan Cream Peas

2 Tbsp. butter
2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
1 cup half & half
Salt & pepper, to taste
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen peas, thawed
3 Tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
Recipe
In a saucepan over medium-high heat, melt butter; add flour and stir until smooth, cooking about 1 minute. Whisk in half and half, then season with salt and pepper. When sauce thickens, stir in peas and Parmesan cheese. Reduce heat to low and continue to cook for 10 to 15 minutes. Serve hot.
