    List of Ingredients




    8 c. rolled oats, lightly toasted in oven
    2 tsp. oil
    1 tsp. salt
    8 c. water

    Recipe



    Mix together and allow to stand overnight in refrigera-
    tor. Preheat waffle iron but do not allow to smoke. Use 1 to
    1 1/2 cups batter for each waffle. Bake each waffle 15 minutes
    before opening waffle iron. Place on bare oven rack at 175 degrees to
    keep hot. Serve with peanut butter and fruit or berry topping.

    Berry Topping:
    6 oz. can concentrated frozen
    apple juice
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1 qt. frozen berries
    Bring apple juice concentrate, cornstarch and salt to
    boil. Stir and cook until thickened. Serve over waffles,
    toast or in tart shells.
    Note: For pie filling use 1/4 cup cornstarch in recipe.
