POT ROAST W/ POTATOES AND VEGS.

List of Ingredients
- 3-4 lb. chuck or 7 bone roast
- 3 or 4 baking potatoes, pealed
- 3 or 4 carrots, quarted
- 2 cans golden mushroom soup
- 1 pkg. onion soup mix
- garlic powder
- 2/3 soup can of water
- 2 or 3 celery stocks, quarted
- 1 sm. onion, thinly sliced
- salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Place roast in large baking pan, sprinkle with garlic powder, salt, pepper, sliced onions and onion soup mix. Add the 2 cans of golden mushroom soup and water. Cover with foil and bake @ 350 degs. for 2 hrs.
- Remove foil and add potatoes, carrots and celery. Recover with foil and return to oven for an additional 1-11/2 hrs. or until vegs. are done.
Final Comments
This is a great one dish meal and one of my childrens favorites.
