    POT ROAST W/ POTATOES AND VEGS.

    List of Ingredients


    • 3-4 lb. chuck or 7 bone roast
    • 3 or 4 baking potatoes, pealed
    • 3 or 4 carrots, quarted
    • 2 cans golden mushroom soup
    • 1 pkg. onion soup mix
    • garlic powder
    • 2/3 soup can of water
    • 2 or 3 celery stocks, quarted
    • 1 sm. onion, thinly sliced
    • salt and pepper to taste


    Instructions


    1. Place roast in large baking pan, sprinkle with garlic powder, salt, pepper, sliced onions and onion soup mix. Add the 2 cans of golden mushroom soup and water. Cover with foil and bake @ 350 degs. for 2 hrs.

    2. Remove foil and add potatoes, carrots and celery. Recover with foil and return to oven for an additional 1-11/2 hrs. or until vegs. are done.



    Final Comments


    This is a great one dish meal and one of my childrens favorites.
