    Sour Cream Coffee Cake

    Recipe Introduction


    This coffee cake is baked in a tube pan, layered with cinnamon nut mixture. Preheat oven to 350°. Grease and flour tube pan or spray with cooking spray.

    List of Ingredients




    1 cup sugar
    1/2 cup butter
    2 eggs
    1 cup sour cream
    2 teaspoons vanilla
    2 cups all purpose flour
    1 teaspoon baking soda
    1 teaspoon baking powder
    1/2 teaspoon salt


    Recipe



    Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs one at a time beating well after each. Beat in sour cream and vanilla. Sift dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture. Set aside.

    Topping
    1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
    3 tablespoons sugar
    1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts(I used pecans)

    Pour half cake mixture in bottom sprinkle half the topping mixture on top. Add rest of cake mixture then sprinkle rest of topping mix.

    Bake 350° for 35 to 40 minutes.
