    Kristi made these as part of her school project on the state of Ohio in 7th grade (13 years old)

    List of Ingredients




    1/2 C. butter (1 stick)
    1 1/2 C. peanut butter (smooth)
    1 lb. confectioners' sugar
    1 T. vanilla extract
    1 12-oz. pkg. chocolate chips
    1/2 block paraffin

    Recipe



    Cream the butter & p'nut butter together. Add the sugar & vanilla & blend thoroughly. Shape into 1" balls & refrigerate on waxed paper for 30 minutes.
    Melt the chocolate chips & paraffin together in a double boiler. With a toothpick, dip the candy into the chocolate, covering all but a small circle on the top. Let cool on waxed paper. Makes 40 balls.
    May be presented in small fluted candy cups. Will keep indefinately in the refrigerator or may be frozen.
