Slow-Cooker Caramelized Onions

Yield: 2-1/2 cups
List of Ingredients
2 extra-large sweet onions (abut 2 lbs)
1/4 C butter, melted
1/2 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepperRecipe
Cut onions in half; cut each half into 1/2-inch-thick slices
Combine all ingredients in a 30-qt slow cooker. Cook, covered, on HIGH 6 hours or until golden & very soft.
Store in an airtight container; chill up to 2 weeks, orif desired, freeze up to 2 months.
