    Yield: 8 Portions

    OPTIONAL: may add 1/3 Cup Bourbon, if desired
    drizzel 1/2 of bourbon over each layer of cake slices

    1 (3 1/2 Ounce) Package Instant Vanilla Pudding Mix
    2 Cups Milk

    Prepare according to package directions, using 2 cups of milk. Cover and chill 5 minutes.

    6 Large Fresh Peaches, Peeled and Sliced
    3 Tablespoons Granulated Sugar

    Toss together in a bowl.

    1/2 (20 Oz) Package Pound Cake

    Cut into 1/2 inch slices. Place half of cake slices on bottom of a trifle dish or deep bowl.
    Spoon half the peach mixture over cake slices. Spread half of pudding over the peaches. Repeat with remaining cake slices, peach mixture and pudding. Cover and chill at least 2 hours.

    1 Cup Whipping Cream

    Whip at medium speed of electric mixture until foamy.

    2 Tablespoons Powdered Sugar

    Add gradually, beating until soft peaks form. Spread over trifle.

    1/2 Cup Sliced Almonds, Toasted

    Sprinkle over top of whipped cream.
