    Easy to make, it's a cookout standby.

    List of Ingredients




    1 pkg.1-layer-size yellow cake mix
    1 4-serving-size instant vanilla pudding mix
    1 8-oz. can pineapple chunks (juice pack)
    1 3-oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened
    2 firm ripe bnanas, sliced
    2 C. fresh strawberries, sliced
    1/2 C fresh blueberries
    1 8-oz. container frozen whipped dessert topping, thawed
    1/3 C. chopped nuts (pecans)
    1/2 C. maraschino cherries

    Recipe



    Prepare and bake cake mix in one 8-ich layer according to package direcions. Cool completely. Split cake in half horizontally to make two layers.

    Prepare pudding mix accordig to package directions.

    Drain pineapple, reserving 2 T. juice. Set pineapple aside. Beat reserved juice into cream cheese. Spread HALF of cream cheese mixture over top of each cake layer.

    In a 3-qt. punch bowl or large glass salad bowl, spoon half of the pineapple chunks. Place on cake layer on top,then arrange in layers: half of the bananas, half of the strawberries, half of the bluberries & half of the prepared pudding. Spread with half of the whipped desert topping. Sprinkle with half of the nuts. Repeat layering, beginning with the remaining & omitting blueberries. Scatter with cherries & remaining blueberries. Top with more nuts, if desired. Serves 10 - 12.
