Grumpy Dick's Seafood Grill (South Florida restaurant)
Recipe Introduction
John Cami, owner of Grumpy Dick's agreed to share the recipe for the spicy steamed shrimp sauce agreed to share the recipe which includes the simple but tasty sauce Hintz mentions. It is spoon-eating good.
The Spiced Steamed Shrimp couldn't be easier to make. First, you only rinse the shrimp -- you don't peel them. Then you use your food processor fitted with the metal blade to chop all the vegetables. You place everything including the shrimp in a large saute pan or skillet, and in about 5 to 6 minutes, dinner is ready. The only seasoning is a healthy dose of McCormick's Old Bay Seasoning.
Have your salad and crispy bread on the table before you begin making this dish. This light and tasty entree takes but minutes if you chop the vegetables before you begin the final cooking.
