    This recipe is from a cookbook Marshall Field published for charity several years ago.

    List of Ingredients




    1-1/2 lbs chuck roast, cut into cubes
    1 can (10-3/4 oz) French onion soup
    1 can (10-3/4 oz) Golden Mushroom soup
    1 cup sweet vermouth

    Recipe



    Heat oven to 350 degrees. In skillet, brown meat. Place in a 3 qt casserole. Add remaining ingredients. Cover and bake 3 hours. Serve over noodles.

    Serves four.
