List of Ingredients
2 T. finely chopped onion
2 T. finely chopped green pepper
1/4 C. ketchup
1 T. Heinz 57 sauce
1/8 tsp. onion salt
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 C. dried bread crumbs (plain)
2 tsp. milk
1 egg
2 lbs. ground beef
GLAZE:
1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1 C. ketchup
Recipe
Place meat in bowl. Add all ingred. except glaze, and blend well. Working with hands, place in greased 13X9" baking dish. Bake @ 350 degrees for 45-55 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 160° on thermometer.
Drain off grease. Prepare glaze by mixing ingred. together. spread glaze over meatloaf. Return to oven & bake about 5 minutes or until glaze is hot.
Slice & serve, spooning glaze over slices. Makes 8 servings.
