    Seven Oaks' Lime Poppyseed Dressing

    from the Seven Oaks Restaurant in Greenville, S.C.

    List of Ingredients




    1 egg
    1 Cup salad oil
    1/3 Cup plus 2 tsp. Rose's Lime Juice
    6 T. confectioners' sugar
    scant 1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. poppy seeds

    Recipe



    With an electric mixer, whip the egg until fluffy. With mixer runnning, slowly add the oil. Reduce mixer speed & add the confectioners' sugar, salt, lime juice & poppy seeds. Chill before serving. Makes about 1 3/4 Cups dressing. Serve over fresh spinach salad.
