    Drains (slow moving)

    Source of Recipe

    Hints from Heloise
To keep drains fresh & free-flowing, pour 1/2 cup of baking soda down the drain & follow with 1 to 2 cups of cheap white vinegar. The vinegar will make the baking soda fizz & foam for a while. This action helps to clean out the drain. After a few minutes, turn on the hot water & let it run for a minute or two. Follow with lots of cold tap water. Doing this should keep your drain flowing freely & smelling sweet. It will not unclog a drain, however.
