Boiled Potatoes & Green Beans

Place 1 pound baby red potatoes (about 8) in a large saucepan; add enough water to cover by 1 inch. bring to a boil; add coarse salt, and cook until potatoes are tender, 15 to 20 minutes. Remove with a slotted spoon; slice in half.
Add 3/4 pound trimmed green beans t boiling water; cover & cook until crisp-tender; 4 to 6 minutes. Drain; transfer vegetables to a medium bowl. Add 1 tablespoon butter; season with salt & ground pepper. Toss.
