    This is a sweet, tangy sauce that I have found to be best suited for pork. It is quick and easy and all ingredients are usually in your pantry




    List of Ingredients


    • 2 Tbsp olive oil
    • 2 clove garlic, minced
    • 3/4 cup catsup
    • 1/4 cup prepared mustard
    • 1/2 Tsp onion powder
    • 1/2 Tsp dry English mustard
    • 1/2 Tsp ground pepper
    • 1/3 cup brown sugar
    • 3 Tbsp honey
    • 1/2 to 1 Tsp liquidsmoke
    • 1 1/2 Tbsp cider vinegar
    • 1/2 cup red wine
    • 1 1/2 Tbsp soy sauce


    Instructions


    1. Heat olive oil in a med sauce pan.
    2. Add garlic, saute gently. Do not burn.
    3. Add brown sugar and melt. bring to simmer and add catsup, mustard, honey.
    4. Stir and bring to simmer and add wine and liquidsmoke. Stir and bring to simmer.
    5. Add remaining ingredients, bring to simmer, reduce to desired consistancy.I use this in a squeeze bottle
