2 x 11/2 lbs. (750 g) Baby back rib racks
1 Large yellow onion, sliced
2 Lemons, thinly sliced
1/2 cup (125 mL) Diana's Marinade, Garlic & Herbs flavour
2 cans Ginger Ale
Maple Sauce
11/2 cups (375 mL) Diana Sauce, Rib & Chicken flavour
1/2 cup (125 mL) Maple syrup
Recipe
Preheat oven to 325°ÌŠF (160°ÌŠC). Place the sliced onion in the bottom of a 3-inch (7 cm) deep roasting pan. Cut each rack into 3-rib portions. Place the ribs meat side down on
top of the onions. Top with sliced lemon. Combine Diana's Marinade with Ginger Ale, pour into the bottom of the roasting pan and cover pan. Braise ribs in oven for 2-21/2 hours until tender. Remove pan from oven and let cool slightly. Remove ribs from pan, discarding braising liquid. In a bowl, combine Diana Sauce and maple syrup to make Maple Sauce for basting. Preheat grill to medium-high.
Grill ribs for 6-8 minutes per side, basting
with Maple Sauce. Serve with additional
Maple Sauce.
