Recipe Introduction
Everyone has eaten hommous. but this is how easy it is to make.
List of Ingredients
- garlic (as much as you like - raw or roasted)
- 1 can chickpeas (or cooked chickpeas)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- squeeze of lemon or lime
- salt and pepper to taste
- tahini
- paprika or parsley
Instructions
- In a blender, blend garlic and chickpeas.
- When it needs liquid add oil and juice (if you cooked them yourself you may add cooking liquid too )
- Season to taste
- mix in tahini (not too much, maybe 1/4 cup
- spoon into bowl and sprinkle with paprika or VERY finely chopped parsely
Final Comments
serve as a dip with crudites, pita or corn chips or as a sandwich spread (healthy). A must with felafel. One of the few healthy things most kids love
