    List of Ingredients


    • 750g paper thin slices eye-of-silverside
    • 1 tbs cornflour
    • 1/4 cup sherry
    • 1/3 cup oyster sauce
    • 1 tbs sesame oil
    • 1 tsp minced garlic
    • 1 tsp minced ginger
    • 1/2 tsp sugar
    • 1/4 tsp black pepper
    • 2 cups chinese dried mushrooms
    • 1 carrot, thinly sliced
    • 230g can sliced bamboo shoots (drained)
    • 4-6 lettuce cups
    • salad or vegetables and pita bread


    Instructions


    1. Combine cornflour, sherry, oyster sauce, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, sugar and pepper. Marinate meat 10 minutes.
    2. Soak dried mushrooms in boiling water for 10 minutes. Drain, remove stalks and slice finely.
    3. Preheat barbecue on medium high heat.
    4. Place meat onto 4-6 large foil sheets. Top with mushrooms, carrot and bamboo shoots. Wrap to form a parcel.
    5. Cook parcels on barbecue 8-10 minutes.
    6. Unwrap and serve in lettuce cups with accompaniments
