    List of Ingredients


    • 750g paper-thin slices eye of silverside
    • 1 tbs corn flour
    • 1/4-1 tsp black pepper
    • 2 cups chinese dried mushrooms
    • 1/4 cup sherry
    • 1 carrot, thinly sliced
    • 1/3 cup oyster sauce
    • 230g can sliced bamboo shoots (drained)
    • 1 tbs sesame oil
    • 4-6 lettuce cups
    • 1 tsp minced garlic
    • 1 tsp minced ginger
    • 1/2 tsp sugar
    • salad vegetables or steamed asparagus
    • 4-6 pita bread


    Instructions


    1. Mix cornflour, sherry, oyster sauce, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, sugar and pepper and marinate emat for 10 minutes. Meanwhile soak dried mushrooms in boiling water for 10 minutes. Drain, remove stalks and slice.
    2. Preheat bbq on medium high heat.
    3. Divide meat between 4-6 foil sheets. Top with mushrooms, carrot and bamboo shoots. Wrap to form a parcel. Cook parcels on barbecue for 8-10 minutes. Prepare a salad (or steam the asparagus)
    4. Serve meat and vegetables from parcels in lettuce cups with salad (or asparagus) and pita bread.
