Icecream Mud Pie with Choc Grasshopper

Recipe Introduction
It may become obvious on reading this recipe how many possible variations can be made.
List of Ingredients
- 1/3 cup reduced cream
- 4 shortcrust pastry tart shells
- 12 marshmallows
- 50g dark chocolate (chopped)
- 1 litre icecream (chocolate, coffee or vanilla was recommended-I would try mint)
- 1/4 cup pecan nuts
- 1 tsp creme de menthe
- 1 tsp creme de cacao
- 4 icecream wafers
Instructions
- Bring cream to boil in a saucepan. Whisk in the chocolate until melted.
- Cool and stir in liqeurs (this is the grasshopper sauce)
- Arrange a scoop of icecream (or one of each flavour), 3 marshmallows and some pecan nuts in each pastry shell.
- Drizzle with grasshopper sauce and garnish with a wafer. Serve immediately (of course)
Final Comments
I might garnish with a fresh mint leaf if I had it, or coffee beans or strawberries. Would also be nice with banana or mango
