    preparation time 15 minutes
    (please note this recipe is one you can feed all your vegan friends!)


    List of Ingredients


    • 1 tin chickpeas, drained
    • 1 tbs tahini
    • 1 clove crushed garlic (or use 1 tsp minced)
    • juice of 1 lemon
    • 1/2 tsp cumin powder
    • 2 tbs olive oil


    Instructions


    1. Combine all indredients using food processor, blender or stick mixer
    2. Blend until smooth. If the mixture is too dry add more juice.
    3. Store in airtight container. Serve with crackers, pita bread, felafels or raw veggies


    Final Comments


    You can substitute white beans for chickpeas and paprika (or nothing) for the cumin if you like. I like fresh garlic better than from the jar
