List of Ingredients
- 3 eggs boiled and cut into 12 pieces
- 1 Chinese pork sausage cut in 12 pieces
- unlined paper (computer paper will do)
- 1 onion, diced
- garlic, chopped finely
- 1/2 lb minced pork
- salt, sugar, pepper to taste
- oyster sauce
- peas (optional)
- 1 packet "rooster" Chinese flour (a very white sweet flour)
- 1 cup fresh milk
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 12 mushrooms (those dried ****take that need soaking)
Instructions
- Mix pork with salt, sugar, pepper, oyster sauce, onion garlic and peas if using. Set aside.
- Soak mushrooms. Cut 12 pieces paper (square) each big enough for 1 bun.
- Set aside 2 tbs flour and knead the rest with milk and sugar. Knead well for 10 minutes.
- Set dough aside for 30 minutes. Use remaining flour to keep it from sticking. Roll out 12 circles.
- Place pork, mushroom, egg and sausage on circle and pinch together at top. Place on paper square.
- Steam 4 at a time in wok or microwave in bamboo steamer. Enjoy as a party food.
- Reheatable in microwave.
