    List of Ingredients


    • 500g lean beef strips- rump, sirloin, scotch fillet, blade, fillet or round
    • 1 tbs canola oil
    • 1 tsp crushed garlic
    • 230g sliced and drained canned water chestnuts
    • 2 sticks celery, sliced
    • 1 tsp chopped ginger
    • 1 red capsicum, sliced
    • 50g mushrooms sliced
    • 1/4 cup teriyaki sauce


    Instructions


    1. Mix beef strips with half the oil, garlic and ginger.
    2. Heat wok or frypan on high. Stirfry strips in small batches 1-2 minutes.
    3. Remove when cooked and allow wok to reheat before stirfrying next batch.
    4. Heat remaining oil in wok and stirfry capsicum, mushrooms, celery and water-chestnuts 1-2 minutes. Return stirfried beef strips.
    5. Stir in teriyaki sauce. Toss to heat through 1-2 mins. Serve with wok tossed noodles (or toss through stirfry) cashews or almonds may be added also
