List of Ingredients
- 500g lean beef strips- rump, sirloin, scotch fillet, blade, fillet or round
- 1 tbs canola oil
- 1 tsp crushed garlic
- 230g sliced and drained canned water chestnuts
- 2 sticks celery, sliced
- 1 tsp chopped ginger
- 1 red capsicum, sliced
- 50g mushrooms sliced
- 1/4 cup teriyaki sauce
Instructions
- Mix beef strips with half the oil, garlic and ginger.
- Heat wok or frypan on high. Stirfry strips in small batches 1-2 minutes.
- Remove when cooked and allow wok to reheat before stirfrying next batch.
- Heat remaining oil in wok and stirfry capsicum, mushrooms, celery and water-chestnuts 1-2 minutes. Return stirfried beef strips.
- Stir in teriyaki sauce. Toss to heat through 1-2 mins. Serve with wok tossed noodles (or toss through stirfry) cashews or almonds may be added also
