Chicken Drumsticks with Gravy

Recipe Introduction


This was meant to be one of those feed your family for under $10 meals. Seriously, I would add salad or some steamed veg. I don't think meat, potato and packet gravy is a meal, but adding veg makes it, and it's still cheapish I guess.

Serves 4





List of Ingredients



• 1kg chicken drumsticks
  
• 1 packet roast chicken gravy mix (they used maggi)
  
• 1 cup water
  
• 1 pack frozen potato wedges (they recommend McCain Hot Bandidos)
  
• oil
  
• salt and pepper to taste
  






Instructions



1. Brown drumsticks in pan. Transfer to a shallow baking dish and bake in moderate oven (180C) for 35-40 mins.
   
2. In a saucepan, add water to chicken gravy mix and heat, stirring constantly. Serve drumsticks with oven-baked wedges and chicken gravy.
