Chinese Cabbage with Barbequed Chicken

Recipe Introduction
I add carrots, broccoli or bean sprouts at times to make it more vegie rich. Serves 4
List of Ingredients
- 1 medium Chinese cabbage (wombok)
- 2 tsp oil
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 tsp fresh ginger (grated)
- 2 spring onions, chopped
- 500g cooked bbq chook (1 medium one)
- 1 tsp cornflour
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 tbs fish or oyster sauce (half each is good)
- 1 tbs soy sauce
- 1 onion, chopped
Instructions
- Shred Chinese cabbage. Heat oil in wok. Add crushed garlic, ginger, shallots and onion. Stirfry 2 minutes.
- Add cabbage and keep stirfrying a further 1 minute.
- Add chicken. add blend of cornflour, water and sauces. Stirfry 1-2 minutes until mixture boils.
Final Comments
sometimes I use thick rice noodles (kway teo noodles) in this with a touch more sauce to make a one wok meal.
