if you read the recipe, you will see it is one to plan ahead as it assumes an overnight for marinating.
Serve with a salad of celery, carrot and spring onion. Rocket and/or pear is also a good flavour here
List of Ingredients
- 4 slices thick bread
- 100g blue vein cheese
- 2 tbs sour cream
- 4 fillet steaks marinated in port overnight
- mushrooms
Instructions
- Cut bread to size of steaks and toast. Top with a slice of blue vein cheese.
- Cook steaks in frypan and place on the toast
- In the frypan cook mushrooms with any left over marinade until tender. Add sour cream and heat through
- Serve sauce over beef.
