    if you read the recipe, you will see it is one to plan ahead as it assumes an overnight for marinating.

    Serve with a salad of celery, carrot and spring onion. Rocket and/or pear is also a good flavour here


    List of Ingredients


    • 4 slices thick bread
    • 100g blue vein cheese
    • 2 tbs sour cream
    • 4 fillet steaks marinated in port overnight
    • mushrooms


    Instructions


    1. Cut bread to size of steaks and toast. Top with a slice of blue vein cheese.
    2. Cook steaks in frypan and place on the toast
    3. In the frypan cook mushrooms with any left over marinade until tender. Add sour cream and heat through
    4. Serve sauce over beef.
