Veal in Pesto Cream Sauce

List of Ingredients
- 6 veal steaks
- freshly ground black pepper to taste
- 15g butter
- 2 tsp cornflour
- 1 cup pure cream
- 2 tbs pesto
- 1 tbs toasted pinenuts
- fresh basil
Instructions
- Season veal with pepper. Melt butter in a frypan and saute veal for 2-3 minutes each side. Remove and keep warm.
- Combine cornflour, cream and add to pan.
- Heat until almost boiling. Remove from heat and whisk in pesto and half the pinenuts. Serve sauce over veal and sprinkle with remaining pinenuts. Garnish with basil.
- Serve with fettucine and tomato wedges.
