    Hazelnut Batons

    serve with mousses, icecreams or desserts like that.


    List of Ingredients


    • 2 egg whites
    • 1/2 cup castor sugar
    • 1/2 tsp vanilla essence
    • 1/2 cup roasted ground hazel nuts
    • extra 2 tbs caster sugar


    Instructions


    1. Beat egg whites with sugar and vanilla essence until very thick and sugar is dissolved.
    2. Fold in nuts and extra sugar.
    3. Pipe 10cm long batons onto a baking paper-lined oven tray. Cook in a moderate oven 180C for 15 minutes. Cool on a wire rack.
    4. Decorate mousse and serve with hazelnut batons.
